Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- pan sausage - 1 lb
- thyme - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- onions - 2 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- seasoning salt - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 3 item
- poultry seasoning - 1 Tbsp
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Optional: You may use 1 pound ground deer meat instead of ground beef.Brown meat in a Dutch oven or huge pot. Put seasoning in with onion, garlic and celery. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add tomatoes, tomato sauce and 3 cans of water. Add about 2 to 4 tablespoons of ketchup. Cook for 2 to 3 hours. Cook noodles, drain and put in sauce. Cook for 30 minutes more. If desired, about 1 hour before, add smoked sausage.
