Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- spaghetti - 8 oz
- green pepper - 1 item
- garlic - 1 tsp
- large can spaghetti sauce - 1 item
How to make spaghetti pie:
Boil spaghetti; drain. Mix in Parmesan cheese, egg, salt and pepper. Brown chopped onion, chopped green pepper and ground beef. Drain and mix with spaghetti sauce, plus oregano and garlic.Place spaghetti mixture in 9 x 13-inch dish. Use 16 ounces cottage cheese and spread half on top of spaghetti. Then spread half of beef mixture, then the last 1/2 of cottage cheese and then the rest of beef mixture.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes (covered). Then put 8 ounces of Mozzarella cheese on top and bake 10 minutes.
