Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- spaghetti - 6 oz
- Mozzarella cheese, sliced - 4 oz
- Italian sausage - 1 lb
How to make spaghetti pie:
Break spaghetti into pieces; cook and drain. Combine spaghetti, eggs and Parmesan cheese. Pour into a greased 10-inch pie plate. Melt butter and saute onion. Stir in sour cream and spoon over spaghetti. Brown sausage in pan and cook until done. Cut in 1-inch pieces. Add tomato paste and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Put this mixture on the sour cream. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top; return to oven until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
