Spaghetti meat sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- dried oregano, crushed
- chopped onion - 1 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- can tomatoes, cut up - 2 lb
- dried thyme, crushed - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
How to make spaghetti meat sauce:
In large pot, combine onion, meat and garlic; cook until meat is browned and onion is tender. Skim off excess fat; add remaining ingredients and water. Simmer, uncovered, 3 hours or until sauce is thick. Stir occasionally. Serve over spaghetti.Optional: Use Parmesan cheese sprinkled over sauce.
