Spaghetti casserole
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1 oz
- hamburger - 1 lb
- Mozzarella cheese - 3 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- Ricotta cheese - 2/3 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can spaghetti sauce - 1 1/2
- box spaghetti, broken up - 1 oz
How to make spaghetti casserole:
Cook and drain spaghetti. Mix together 1 beaten egg, 1 tablespoon margarine, 1 ounce Parmesan cheese and spaghetti. Place in a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish. Spread 2/3 cup Ricotta cheese over spaghetti mixture.Brown hamburger with green pepper and onion. Drain. Add 2 tablespoon margarine and spaghetti sauce to hamburger. Mix well. Spread on top of spaghetti and Ricotta cheese.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese on top. Return to oven to melt cheese. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
