  • eggs, beaten - 4 item
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • olive oil - 1 item
  • spaghetti - 1 lb
  • white wine - 1/4 c
  • bacon - 1/2 lb
  • Parmesan or Romano cheese - 1 item

How to make spaghetti carbonara:

Fry bacon. In a separate pan, brown garlic with olive oil on low heat. Add bacon, basil and wine to garlic mixture when garlic is lightly browned. In another large serving bowl, add beaten eggs, cheese, parsley and salt and pepper. Cook spaghetti; drain and put on top of egg mixture. Stir well. Add garlic mixture. Serves 4.
