  • olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • tomato sauce - 1/4 c
  • finely chopped green onion - 1/4 c
  • large shrimp - 1/2 lb
  • finely chopped cilantro - 1/4 c
  • finely chopped jalapeno remove seeds for milder dish - 1 item
  • plain boiled rice - 1 item

How to make southwestern shrimp:

Peel and devein shrimp; cut in half. Heat oil in nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Saut? onion, cilantro and jalapeno for 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce. Add shrimp and stir until shrimp turns pink. Serve over white rice. Serves 2.
