Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- margarine - 1/3 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- butter flavoring - 1/4 tsp
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup, melted margarine and butter flavoring. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in moderate 350° oven for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between outside and center of filling comes out clean. Cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
