Southern pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- margarine to dot on top of pie - 2 Tbsp
How to make southern pecan pie:
Combine eggs, syrup, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 350° at least 45 minutes or middle of pie is firm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
