Southern pecan pie



  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • white Karo syrup - 1 c
  • margarine to dot on top of pie - 2 Tbsp

How to make southern pecan pie:

Combine eggs, syrup, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 350° at least 45 minutes or middle of pie is firm.
