Southern pecan pie


Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla extract - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- heavy cream - 3/4 c
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- pecans
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- 9-inch frozen or prepared pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Preheat oven to 375°. Beat eggs and gradually mix in sugar, butter and salt. Whip cream gently for 1 minute and stir into egg mixture with corn syrup. Add vanilla and 1 1/4 cups pecans.
