Southern pecan pie



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Arrange pecan halves in bottom of pie shell. Beat eggs. Add butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir well until blended. Combine sugar and flour; blend with egg mixture. Pour over nuts in pie shell. Let stand until nuts rise to surface. Bake in oven at 350° for 45 minutes. Nuts will glaze during baking.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
