Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- warm water - 1 c
- bread flour - 6 c
- corn oil - 1/2 c
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
- Starter - 1 c
- instant potatoes - 3 Tbsp
- Stir until dissolved
- Let Starter stand at room temperature all day or overnight 8 to 12 hours
- warm water too hot will kill Starter
- Grease a large bowl, including sides and top
How to make sourdough bread:
Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar and potatoes. Stir until dissolved. Let stand at room temperature all day or overnight before refrigerating.
