Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 7 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add the other ingredients. Keep covered in refrigerator overnight before making into biscuits. Bake at 450°. This dough keeps well in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Breads, Southwestern u.s., Rolls/biscuits.
