Sour cream rhubarb pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg whites, beaten stiff - 3 item
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 3 item
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- cut fresh rhubarb
How to make sour cream rhubarb pie:
Put rhubarb in pie shell. Mix sour cream, sugar, flour and egg yolks. Pour over rhubarb. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool slightly. Add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually to the beaten egg white. Spread over pie. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
