  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Separate eggs. Add yolks, one at a time, beating well. Combine dry ingredients. Alternate flour and sour cream, adding to creamed mixture. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into batter. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325° in greased and floured 9 or 10-inch tube pan. Also can be baked in loaf pans.
