- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Separate eggs. Add yolks, one at a time, beating well. Combine dry ingredients. Alternate flour and sour cream, adding to creamed mixture. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into batter. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325° in greased and floured 9 or 10-inch tube pan. Also can be baked in loaf pans.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
