  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream the butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to butter mixture alternating with sour cream. Mix well. Add vanilla. Bake in a tube pan that has been floured and greased at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Remove carefully from oven and let cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. No frosting needed.
