Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- lemon extract or vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- sticks pure butter - 2 item
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Cream together the sugar and eggs until there is no sugar in the bottom of mixing bowl. Gradually add eggs, one at a time; blend well. Add all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl. Add sour cream; mix at low speed. Slowly add sweet milk until you get the texture you desire. Add extract. Increase speed to thoroughly blend all ingredients. Grease and flour a tube pan.
