Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • medium potatoes - 6 item
  • green onions, chopped - 1/3 c
  • sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 3/4 c

How to make sour cream potato casserole:

Cook potatoes with skins. Remove skin; slice about 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick. Place in a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. In a saucepan, mix all remaining ingredients (except crumbs). Stir over low heat until just heated. Pour over potatoes; sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
