Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • cottage cheese - 1 c

How to make sour cream noodle casserole:

Cook noodles; rinse and drain. Brown meat in butter (if needed); drain fat. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles. Mix with meat. Bake in a large dish, topped with cheese, for approximately 30 minutes at 350°.
