Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- grated lemon rind - 1 Tbsp
- egg yolks unbeaten - 3 item
How to make sour cream lemon pie:
Combine sugar and cornstarch in pan. Add butter, lemon rind, juice and egg yolks. Stir in milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick; cool. Fold in sour cream. Spoon into baked pie shell. Cover with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Chill at least 3 hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
