  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • dairy sour cream - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 1/3 c
  • grated lemon rind - 1 Tbsp
  • egg yolks unbeaten - 3 item

How to make sour cream lemon pie:

Combine sugar and cornstarch in pan. Add butter, lemon rind, juice and egg yolks. Stir in milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick; cool. Fold in sour cream. Spoon into baked pie shell. Cover with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Chill at least 3 hours or overnight.
