Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- hot water - 1/4 c
- melted unsweetened chocolate 3 oz - 3 sq
How to make sour cream fudge cake:
Sift all dry ingredients. Combine shortening and sour cream and beat for 2 minutes. Add chocolate, eggs, vanilla, hot water and dry ingredients. Turn into well-greased and floured pans. Makes 2 (8-inch) pans baking for 35 minutes, 2 (9-inch) pans baking for 25 to 30 minutes or a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
