- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
How to make sour cream cornbread:
Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a medium sized bowl, beat together the egg, milk and butter. Add the egg mixture and the sour cream to the flour mixture. Stir just until blended. Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
