  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 4 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 4 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • heavy sour cream - 1 c

How to make sour cream cookies:

Sift last 4 ingredients together. Cream together margarine, sugar and eggs (add 1 at a time). Beat well until fluffy. Add sifted ingredients alternately with the sour cream to the egg mixture. Add vanilla. Drop by spoonful; sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
