- sour cream - 1 (8
- water - 1/2 c
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- imitation butter flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. water1 tsp. butter flavoring1/4 c. corn syrup Mix thoroughly. Pour 1/2 of this batter into a greased, floured Bundt pan. In another bowl, mix 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle this mixture over the first half of the batter and carefully spoon remaining batter over the top. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 1 hour. Remove from pan and glaze while warm.Glaze: Combine all ingredients. Boil for 2 minutes. Glaze while hot.
P.S. Be sure sugar is dissolved before boiling.
