  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • 8 oz - 1 c
  • Set aside

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Combine ingredients. Set aside.Cake:1/2 c. butter, softened1 c. sugar2 eggs1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream1 tsp. vanilla2 c. all-purpose flour1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter and egg mixture. Beat until combined. Pour half batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with half the topping. Add remaining batter and topping. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or less until lightly brown.

Note: When spreading batter, dip large spoon in water to help spread easier.
