- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- margarine, softened
- 8 oz - 1 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cake:1/2 c. margarine, softened1 c. sugar2 eggs1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream1 tsp. vanilla extract2 c. flour1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. salt Combine topping ingredients; set aside. For cake, cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to the cream mixture; beat until combined. Pour half the batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 the topping. Add remaining batter and topping.
