Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- sour cream 1 c - 1/2 pt
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/4 c. white sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift in separate bowl the dry ingredients; slowly add creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream. Stir in vanilla. Pour half of batter into greased (9 x 9-inch) pan, then cover with half of Nut Topping. Pour remaining batter over filling and top with rest of nut mixture.
