Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Pecan Topping:3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed1 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. butter1 c. chopped pecans For topping, combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; mix thoroughly. Cut in butter until the consistency of cornmeal. Mix in pecans and set aside.In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add sour cream and blend well.
Spread mixture in a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cut into squares. Serve warm or cold. Serves 12.
