Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
- sticks butter, at room temperature - 2 item
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:5 tsp. brown sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. chopped nuts (optional) Cream together butter and sugar. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla and mix on low speed. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix on medium speed until well blended. Spoon into a greased and floured angel food cake pan.Topping: Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts together and sprinkle on top of cake. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
Note: After baking, let set in pan for a couple of hours to cool.
