- sour cream - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 3 c
- melted unsweetened chocolate, cooled - 4 oz
- Sour Cream Chocolate Frosting - 1 item
- Grease and flour oblong 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or 2 9-inch or 3 8-inch round layer pans
How to make sour cream chocolate cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour oblong 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) or 3 (8-inch) round layer pans. Measure all ingredients, except frosting, into large mixing bowl. Mix 1/2 minute on low, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high,Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low sodium.
