Sour cream apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- cup 8 oz sour cream - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1 item
- all purpose flour, divided - 6 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cups chopped peeled cooking apples Granny Smith - 3 item
- unbaked pie shell 9 inches - 1 item
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- cup pack brown sugar - 1/4 item
How to make sour cream apple pie:
In a large bowl beat eggs. Add sour cream, stir in sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Stir in apples. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile combine 1/4 cup butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar and remaining flour. Sprinkle over top of pie.
