Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- whole chicken breasts - 4 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
- tortillas, tear into strips - 1 doz
- 1/2 cans wide flat green chili salsa - 1 item
How to make sopa de tortilla:
Cook chicken breasts until tender. Bone and cut into large pieces. Mix soups, onion and salsa together. Layer tortilla strips, soup mixture and cheese in buttered 9 x 14-inch dish. Refrigerate 24 hours. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Main dish.
