Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 item
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 2 Tbsp
- can refried beans - 1 oz
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- sharp Cheddar - 2 oz
How to make sombrero spread:
Brown beef and next 3 ingredients; drain. Add next 4 ingredients. Mash beans into mixture. Heat, stirring often. Add Tabasco. Garnish with cheese. Makes 3 1/2 cups for dipping with chips or crackers. Won't last long.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Spreads.
