Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- onion - 1/2 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 3/4 c
- can red kidney beans with liquid - 1 oz
- hot salsa may substitute medium or mild - 1/2 c
How to make sombrero spread:
Brown meat and onion in skillet. Stir in salsa, chili powder and salt. Mash in beans; heat thoroughly. Garnish with cheese.Serving Ideas: Serve hot as a spread for tostados or Doritos.
