  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • water - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • raisins
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item

How to make soft raisin cookies:

Combine raisins and water; bring to a boil. Cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool (do not drain). Cream butter; add sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add gradually to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts and rais
