Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- warm water
- yeast - 1 Tbsp
- white flour - 4 c
- Kosher salt - 1 item
How to make soft pretzels:
Mix all ingredients except butter and Kosher salt in large bowl. Knead in additional flour until dough is no longer sticky. Roll out dough until 1/4-inch thick. Then cut into 1/4-inch strips about 10-inches long. Twist into desired shapes and lay on greased cookie sheet. Melt butter and spread on pretzels using small brush. Sprinkle salt on pretzels and place in oven at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Low fat.
