Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- warm water
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make soft pretzels:
Dissolve yeast in water in bowl. Add salt, sugar and flour. (If mixture is too sticky, add some more flour. If too dry, add some water.) Make 8 small balls from dough. Roll into long strips; shape into pretzels. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 425° for 18 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Low fat.
