Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- warm water
- coarse salt - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make soft pretzels:
Preheat oven to 450°. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar and salt. Blend in flour. Knead until smooth. Cut into 10 to 12 pieces, roll into ropes and twist into desired shapes. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Low fat.
