  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • molasses - 1 c
  • ginger - 2 tsp
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
  • a little vanilla - 1 item
  • sweet or sour milk - 1 c
  • soda, dissolved in boiling water - 2 tsp

How to make soft gingerbread:

Caramel Sauce:2 c. sugar1 c. milk a little vanilla1 Tbsp. butter Combine sugar, butter, spices, eggs and molasses together and beat well. Add milk, soda and flour last. Bake at 350°. Caramel: Blend and cook over low heat. Serve over
