Soft chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- white sugar - 3/4 c
How to make soft chocolate chip cookies:
Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Mix all together, including the soda and add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
