  • granulated sugar - 1/4 c
  • milk - 1 2
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • confectioners sugar
  • finely chopped pecans - 1 c
  • ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • reserved cake mix
  • box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • Crisco oil or Puritan oil - 1/3 c

How to make sock-it-to-me cake:

Streusel Filling:2 Tbsp. reserved cake mix2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 tsp. ground cinnamon1 c. finely chopped pecans Glaze:1 c. confectioners sugar1 or 2 Tbsp. milk Preheat oven to 375°. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Combine cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil, water and granulated sugar in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of batter in pan. Sprinkle with Streusel filling. Spoon remaining batter evenly over filling. Bake at 375° for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan for 25 minutes. Drizzle glaze over cool cake.
