Snickerdoodles

Ingredients/Components

• soft margarine - 1 c
• sugar
• eggs - 2 item
• sifted flour
• cream of tartar - 2 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• cinnamon - 2 Tbsp

How to make snickerdoodles:

Mix the first 3 ingredients well. Sift the dry ingredients and stir in. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.) Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
