Ingredients/Components
- soft margarine - 1 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- sifted flour
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Mix the first 3 ingredients well. Sift the dry ingredients and stir in. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.) Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
