Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • cream of tartar - 2 tsp

How to make snickerdoodles:

Mix butter and shortening until creamy. Add sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough into balls. Mix sugar and cinnamon; roll balls in mixture. Place on an ungreased sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 400° oven.
