Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Preheat oven to 375°. In large bowl, cream the 3/4 cup sugar and oleo with a wooden spoon. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Stir until well mixed. Combine the 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place balls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
