Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- softened oleo - 1/2 c
How to make snickerdoodles:
Cream oleo, shortening and sugar. Add eggs to creamed mixture and stir. Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt to mixture. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Shape dough into round balls. Roll balls into sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
