Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 can
- butterfly pork chops - 4 item
- leaf thyme, crushed - 1/4 tsp
- small white whole onions - 2 item
How to make smothered pork chops:
In skillet, brown chops (use 1 tablespoon shortening if needed). Pour off fat. Stir in soup, water and thyme. Add onions, carrots and mushrooms. Cover. Cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender. Stir now and then. Very good served with rice.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork chop, Pork.
