Ingredients/Components
- chicken thighs, skinned, or other pieces - 8 item
- salt and freshly ground pepper - 1 item
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- saltine cracker crumbs approximately - 2 c
- butter 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- can onion soup - 1 item
- soup can water - 1 item
How to make smothered chicken:
Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Dip in egg and roll in cracker crumbs. Saute until golden in 2 tablespoons butter.
