Ingredients/Components
- medium onion - 1 item
- turkey - 12 lb
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- small bell pepper if desired - 1 item
- small stalk celery may be substituted for or combined with pepper, according to taste - 1 item
How to make smoked turkey:
Wrap in foil and smoke 5 hours. Take off foil last hour to brown. If larger turkey is desired, smoke 30 minutes per pound.Recipe categories: Main dish, Turkey, Whole turkey.
