Ingredients/Components

  • half and half - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • plus 1 1/2 tsp - 1 Tbsp
  • chili sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • dill weed - 1 tsp
  • onion powder - 1/2 tsp
  • can pink salmon - 1 oz
  • drops liquid smoke - 3 item
  • red hot pepper sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • carton whipped cream cheese - 1 oz

How to make smoked salmon spread:

Flake and drain salmon. Combine salmon, 4 ounces of the whipped cream cheese, chili sauce, dill weed, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, red hot pepper sauce and liquid smoke, blending well. Turn into a 2-cup mold. Cover; chill overnight. Unmold onto serving platter.

Make Topping: Combine remaining 4 ounces of whipped cream cheese, 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice and half and half; spread over mold. Serve with assorted fancy crackers. Makes 2 cups of spread.
