Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- maple syrup - 1 c
- fish
- liquid smoke - 4 Tbsp
- apple juice - 1/2 c
- or less red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- powder garlic - 1 Tbsp
- or less black pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make smoked fish:
Marinate:3 1/2 c. sugar1 c. maple syrup2 1/2-3 c. water4 Tbsp. liquid smoke1 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. salt1 Tbsp. powder garlic1/2 tsp. or less red pepper1/2 tsp. or less black pepper1/3 c. lemon juice1/2 c. apple juice Soak fish in this for 1 hour before cooking. May use heavy foil in smoker. Use pan of water in smoker. Smoke with 2/3 Apple wood and 1/3 Hickory wood. Peel bark off of the Apple wood. (Bro. Paul Hampton's recipe from Mt.
